My mission is to help people reach their full potential.
Throughout her career, Patricia left every company she helped in a better position than when she found it.
Not because she increased profitability. Not because she helped companies expanded globally into new markets. And not because she fostered innovation and developed new revenue streams.
She did all of that. But, it's because of the people she helped develop and grow, and the impacts they had on their organizations, that define her success.
For nine years Patricia worked in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry where she lead technical and sales teams in the electrical certification market, globally. By developing highly skilled and motivated teams, she helped the company exceed revenue targets by 47 percent and margin targets by 8 percent over 3 years. Patricia and her team were instrumental in expanding these businesses around the world including Canada, the US, the UK, China and Italy.
After a successful decade in the TIC industry Patricia returned home to Edmonton where she worked as the President of an industrial product distribution company. She then brought her high-performance leadership skills to the Edmonton operations of an American multinational corporation, and manufacturer, retailer, and marketer of nonalcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups. During her time in this position, not only did Patricia engage and create a positive morale among 200+ union employees, but in 2016 she increased productivity among union members by 10 percent and reduced product damages, lowering the cost per case.
More recently Patricia helped launch a social enterprise and develop a new revenue model for a 40 year old non-profit that was struggling to balance its books. She reorganized the team, working closely with the board and management to restructure the operations and reduce costs without eliminating roles. In fact, turnover throughout this difficult transition was less than 10 percent.
